Terms and Conditions

Please read in full as you will be asked to sign your agreement when completing a booking form

Only healthy pets are accepted.

Rabbits must be vaccinated against myxomatosis. I require you to bring a current vaccination certificate against myxomatosis and VHD1+2 upon arrival.

Pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed upon booking. If your pet does have a medical condition, details of the condition and treatment required must also be given.

My rabbit and guinea pig enclosures and runs are cleaned and disinfected between guests.

In the unlikely event your pet should become unwell, I will transport your pet to the local vet (Animal Tails). However, all costs will be in the owner's name and address, and will be the responsibility of the owner.

Sadly small animals can succumb to illness and sometimes pass away very suddenly. If this does happen when your pet is in my care, I will contact you immediately to discuss your wishes.

Hillfoots Bunny Boarding can accept no liability in the event of your pet passing away while in my care.

If your pet needs to be separated from its companion due to fighting, you will be liable for the boarding fee of the second hutch, payable on return. I will endeavour to keep companions together but if fighting and injuries occur, I have to put your pet’s safety and wellbeing first.

Payment must be made upon collection at the end of your pet's stay.

If you collect your pet earlier than the departure date stated on your booking confirmation, you are still liable for the full amount of your pet's stay.

Being prompt for drop-off and pick-up times is much appreciated. Please be sure to agree drop off and pick up times with me at least 24 hours beforehand via text message or email.

If you are running late for any reason please telephone to let me know on 07931123403.

I am a small boarding business and cannot guarantee extensions of stay will be granted. Any extensions of stay will be chargeable at current daily prices.

For cancellation with more than 72 hours' notice, no cancellation fee will apply.

For cancellation with 72 hours' notice or less, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.

Small animal boarding does not require a licence or have the same rules and regulations as boarding for larger animals, such as dogs or cats. All animals are left with Hillfoots Bunny Boarding at their owners' risk. I also take no responsibility for pregnancies.

Animal insurance is the responsibility of the pet owner. I have public liability insurance up to the value of £1,000,000.

In placing a booking with Hillfoots Bunny Boarding, you agree that you have read and accept my terms and conditions in full.

For all boarders, a boarding contract must be signed by you, which confirms your acceptance of my Terms & Conditions. You will also be asked to give me details about your individual pet/s and their needs, routine, habits, likes and dislikes.

Each animal is treated as an individual; I operate an equal hopportunities policy.
